William LANHAM, was born ca 1699 in Maryland and married Alice TOLBERT (b. 31 Aug 1703), on 15 January 1720/21.

Probate of Estate was 20 Apr 1772, Amherst Co., Virginia

Benjamin married Sarah abt 1750 and they had the following children:

(i.a.) Son, Joseph LANHAM

^[2] was born on 18 Nov 1754 in , Prince Georges, Maryland. Occupation: Farmer

(i.b.) Son, James LANHAM was born after 1754 in , Amherst, Virginia.
(i.c.) Son, John LANHAM was born after 1754 in , Amherst, Virginia.
(i.d.) Daughter, Elizabeth LANHAM was born after 1754 in , Amherst, Virginia.
(i.e.) Daughter, Mary LANHAM was born after 1754 in , Amherst, Virginia.
(i.f.) Daughter, Hannah LANHAM was born after 1754 in , Amherst, Virginia.
(i.g.) Son, William LANHAM .

(ii.) Son, Joseph LANHAM was born on 18 Oct 1721 (twins). ^[1] Joseph and __ had the following children:

(ii.a.) Son, Benedict LANHAM born after 1732.

(iii.) Son, John LANHAM was born on 12 Dec 1723 in , Prince Georges, Maryland. He died in 1765 in , Mecklenburg, North Carolina. Occupation: Shoemaker ^[1] John married Barbley Comfort BROWN. Barbley was born in , Ann Arundel, Maryland. They had the following children:

(iii.a.) Daughter, Sarah LANHAM was born in 1743. Sarah married HAGERTY.
(iii.b.) Daughter, Easter LANHAM was born in 1745. Easter married DEAN.
(iii.c.) Daughter, Jean LANHAM was born in 1747. Jean married MCCOY.
(iii.d.) Daughter, Comfort LANHAM was born in 1749. She died in 1832 in Pound Gape,, Virginia, USA. Comfort married Stephen OSBORNE about 1765 in York,, South Carolina.
(iii.e.) Son, William LANHAM .
(iii.f.) Son, Augester Abel LANHAM was born about 1757. He died on 22 Aug 1838.
(iii.g.) Son, William LANHAM .

(iv.) Daughter, Sarah LANHAM was born on 09 May 1735 to William Lanham and Alice Tolburt. ^[1]
