(iii.) Son, Joseph W. SHEPHERD ^[1] was born in 1842 in ,, Missouri, USA.

(iv.) Son, Benjamin F. SHEPHERD ^[1] was born in 1842 in ,, Missouri, USA.

(v.) Son, James M. SHEPHERD ^[1] was born in 1847 in ,, Missouri, USA.

(vi.) Daughter, Amanda SHEPHERD ^[2] was born 25 June 1855 in ,, Missouri, USA. Amanda married John Henry NASH. They had six children. ^[3]

Lucy Shepherd was listed with Sylvester, Joseph, Benjamin, James, Thomas, and Amanda in the 1860 Census in Maryville, Nodaway county, Missouri.
