Abednego CHANDLER was born about 1752/1753 in , King William, Virginia. [1] He was the son of Robert Chandler III and Sarah . [2] He died 4 July 1817 , Christian, Kentucky. [3] He married Elizabeth BANKS [2] before 1780. [4] She was born before 1768. [2] They had the following children:

(i.) Daughter, Jemima CHANDLER, born about 1780 in Darlington, South Carolina and died 1850 in Christian, Kentucky. She married on 9 April 1817 to Frederick Nixon. [2]

(ii.) Daughter, Elizabeth (Betsy) CHANDLER was born about 1789 in Newberry or Greenville County, South Carolina. She married on 30 September 1808 to Samuel Hamby in ,Christian,Kentucky. [2]

(iii.) Son, Samuel CHANDLER was born about 1796 in ,,South Carolina. [2]

(iv.) Daughter, Sarah CHANDLER was born about 1798 in ,,South Carolina and died after 1860. She married on 15 APR 1817 to James Amos Hamby. [2]

(v.) Son, John CHANDLER was born on 26 May 1802 in South Carolina. [2] [5] He died on 27 Aug 1879 in Rockwall, Rockwall, Texas, USA. He was buried in Rockwall Cemetery, Rockwall, Rockwall, Texas.

(vi.) Daughter, Mary CHANDLER (1804-). She married on 24 December 1831 to William Adams. [2]

(vii.) Daughter, Kesiah CHANDLER was born 23 March 1806 in , Christian, Kentucky. [6] She married on 5 May 1835 to Isaac Cooper in ,Christian,Kentucky. She died 30 July 1862 in Burnside,Hancock, IL. [6] She is buried in the McKay Cemetery. [6]
